New Systems and Processes

At Chelton Brown we strive to provide excellent Customer Service and realise the importance of having systems and processes in place.

We have incorporated various Software packages such as Fixflo, Inventorybase and Goodlord to streamline our processes.

Fixflo is used for tenants to report all their repair issues via our website, meaning these can be dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Inventorybase allows us to carry out a full inventory check of a property, carry out property inspections and generate reports for the landlords with photos and comments.  The same software is used for the final inspection at the end of the tenancy. Again with lots of photos which helps if there is a dispute.

Goodlord we have recently introduced for referencing and administering tenancies, this benefits the tenants by allowing them to complete the referencing and documentation at a time that is convenient to them online.  The system also sends the Gas safety Certificate, EICR, EPC and the How to Rent Guide.  Once the tenant has passed the references and we have approved them, the system generates the tenancy agreement and sends to all tenants for ‘e’ signing.  The tenants pay their first months rent and deposit online, leaving them to just come to the office with their ID to collect the keys and sign the Standing Order Mandate.  This has proved extremely successful during times when visits to the office and face to face meetings are avoided as much as possible.
