I have worked in the Property industry for 30 years and first opened Chelton Brown in 1990. The business has seen many changes since then. I first joined the NAEA in 1985 and after showing due diligence became a fellow in 1990. I have been in ARLA since 1995 and was one of the first people to pass (with Distinction) the ARLA 2000 exam that was brought out in the year 2000 to show a legal understanding of the lettings industry. I ensure that the business is run following all the principles of the ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents).

Having grown up around Chelton Brown, It was almost inevitable I would follow the family path and work within the business. I started helping with filing during summer holidays when I was 13. I was always wanting to help where I could. After working Saturdays in Daventry, I started full time in Northampton as a Lettings Viewings Clerk in 2020 to help with the craziness of COVID. I then progressed to Lettings Negotiator. Having achieved my ARLA and NVQ in Residential Lettings and Property Management, I went on to do a series of Block management courses and was so excited to become a Director of our Block Management Department. I now enjoy the everyday challenges of my fast-paced new role.
Tori Chelton Brown

Tori Chelton Brown Director

I joined Chelton Brown in September 2019 as the Saturday Viewing Clerk in Northampton. 12 months later I jumped at the opportunity to join the team full time in the property management department. I moved to the Daventry Office in March 2021 as the Daventry Property Manager. Taking on the role of Daventry Team Leader gave me the opportunity to work with and gain experience in all parts of the business and great preparation for me to take on a new role in February 2023 as the Operations Manager, which includes overseeing the Renewals Team and leading the Client Account management for the Block Management team. I have previously worked in accounts roles in the private sector and in Local Government for 15 years. I have a degree in Social Policy and Criminology as well as Level 3 NVQ in Customer Service and a Level 4 NVQ equivalent in Accounting. I have completed a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Housing and Property Management and passed the Property Mark ARLA level 3 examinations. I am now working towards a Level 4 qualification in Residential lettings and property management. I enjoy a challenge and learning new skills, so am thoroughly enjoying working in such a rewarding and varied role, for a rewarding and supportive company.
